Hello hello!

Thanks for visiting Hopskoch Photography. Here’s a little bit about me and about my awesome job…

My name is Julie Goldstone, and I love taking pictures, especially of happy moments. I started Hopskoch after documenting a friend’s wedding and realized that it combined my passions for photojournalism and portraiture. It started in a lighthearted, playful and collaborative spirit; like the hand drawn game we played as children, like the spirit of your wedding.

I believe that photography should celebrate the love you have for your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, friends, children, grandparents, dogs, giant rabbits. Photography that represents your uniqueness and celebrates your joie de vivre will transport you to those moments so that you can cherish the memories forever.

I received my BFA in photography from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Aside from Hopskoch, I show my personal work in various galleries, and photograph for an international health and development non-profit in honduras; you can see some of my personal work at www.juliegoldstone.com.

I am currently based in Burlington, Vermont but not grounded here. I love to travel and get inspired by these new locations. Contact me if you have any questions! Happy wedding planning!
